Follow us A lovely Fall weekend at Virginia International Raceway led to two more victories for the hard charging, Dillon Machavern. Dillon won the Tarheel Cup race and in doing so, secured yet another Spec Miata Championship! Dillon’s dominant weekend was tough on the competition as he won the ECR race and set a new track record in the process! Dillon’s Spec Miata was prepped by Panic Motorsports, had power by Race Engineering, brakes from Carbotech and it seemed to be on rails the entire weekend. Congratulations Dillon!!
Follow us BIG Congratulations to Dillon Machavern!! Dillon is a race car driver extraordinaire and a young man I am proud to call my friend! Dillon secured himself a place in Spec Miata racing history by winning the 2012 ECR Endurance Racing Championship! With the help of Steve Bertok, with Panic Motorsports, Dillon dominated the entire season showing poise, experience, maturity, and sheer race-craft which, when seen at all, is normally shown by much older drivers. Well done Dillon, and thank you for choosing Race Engineering power!
Follow us Yesterday, Race Engineering was at CMP completing another day of testing and the car was awesome! We were 0.02 second under the track record on multiple laps! We still have one more test planned for this car before we race and we still have to complete the build on our second car, but it’s close!!
We are just a bit behind schedule from fulfilling customer orders, we were a little surprised to have taken orders for this many new car builds in this economy – GO SPEC MIATA! Monday, we are starting 2 new cage builds.
After we finished testing, we went to the Carolina Cup Pro Series award banquet at E-Speed’s headquarters. We had a fabulous time eating, drinking, and enjoying lots of laughs with fellow drivers. Congratulations to Steve Bertok with Panic Motorsports on yet another Carolina Cup Pro Series Championship!

Congratulations to Tyler Dahl for winning the M.P.R.A. Spec Miata Championship 2 years in a row! Tyler had an outstanding year with 7 wins out of the 13 total races to clinch this title! In May, Tyler set a new track record at the National with a blistering time of 3:26:344 and he continued the momentum all year long! Way to go Tyler, what a great 2008 season!
